Concrete Inertia Bases

Vibro-Acoustics' concrete inertia bases (CIB) provide vibration and start-up torque damping by adding mass to and lowering the center of gravity of the mechanical equipment it is installed under. CIBs are available in straight and "T" configurations or can be designed to fit the equipment and are therefore available in any shape and size. Based on the application, CIB designs can work with any of Vibro-Acoustics' floor-mounted isolators.

Applications include indoor and outdoor mechanical equipment with start-up torque and the possibility for internal rotating imbalances. Typical equipment may include fans, pumps and air compressors.
