Aero-Acoustic Laboratory

At Vibro-Acoustics, we built our technical leadership capability on our first aero-acoustic laboratory, the best of its era, in the early 1960s. Two subsequent laboratories led to the creation of Vibro-Acoustics’ state-of-the-art aero-acoustic testing facility, the world’s first NVLAP-accredited laboratory for the testing of silencers, in the early 1990s.

Many manufacturers employ test facilities to maximize catalog ratings based on ideal lab conditions. We run our facility to understand product ratings in both ideal and real conditions to ensure the right data is used on a system-specific basis. We pride ourselves on the fact that we’re the biggest users of our data. And to meet our exacting standards, our data has to be right every time.
